Interesting piece in the Herald this morning suggesting that Lowry maybe on the move up, possibly to the Flames.

Even Lowry, who toiled in the NHL for 17 seasons, is rumoured to have an assistant's job with an NHL club, perhaps with the Flames, on his plate.

I heard Lowry's interview on the Fan 960 this afternoon. He expects to lose about 9 players from this years team, which is similar how many the Hitmen lost at the end of last season. He said that during the Brandon series the coaches could see their game starting to slip but they were able to win games they probably shouldn't have. He didn't deny anything regarding his future but he did say he would look at all opportunities that might come his way.

I will post a link to the interview once the fan has it up on their website.

I really dont expect Dave going anywhere next season. I could be wrong but I expect him back behind the Hitmen bench.

It would be a shame after so much success this season -- Dave did a great job with this team
