Whats with Mappin not getting drafted?? I've heard all year that he was going to be a mid round guy (4th round) and he dint get the call at all. Red Deer ended up having a couple guys getting drafted that I dont think anyone expected! Whats the deal????

His stock plummeted pretty fast. I wonder if he interviewed with anyone. I heard some questions about his work ethic.

His work ethic is ok for the most part, even the best players in the world take a shift off every once in a while. Cass's problem is that EVERY time that he was a little nonchalant in his clearing the zone or making a first pass, the puck was in our net, and it always seemed like a real back-breaking goal. Also his offensive production trailed off towards the end of the season, and he missed the last month and a half of the season with a broken foot.

He is a monster on the boards however, and he needs to find a way to translate that ability into more offensive production.
