So many people screaming for the WHL to return to Winnipeg and only 3882 people show up for the Wheat Kings and Blades tonight? Likely 500 of those were friends and family of the many players from both teams that are from the Winnipeg area plus a bus load of 30-40 fans from Saskatoon.... not too impressive. Perhaps the weather played a part in it, but either way....

The WHL site just says Winnipeg Arena, but I'm sure it was the MTS Center. It was supposed to be anyway.
