Greg Drinnan is reporting that former New Westminster Bruin coach Ernie "Punch" Mclean is missing in northern BC where he was surveying a gold claim. Mclean has been missing since Sunday when he was supposed to attend a meeting. Mclean is now 76 years old.

Yahoo, Ernie has been found, just heard it on this morning's news. Apparently he fell down a cliff and became disoriented but made it out to a road on his own and was spotted by a helicopter crew. Great news and a relief for so many of his family and friends.

Heard it on CKNW sportstalk that evening. Made my day and lifted my spirits up.
