The Rebels have traded a 3rd round pick in 2011 for 17 year old Defenceman Simon Witt from Vancouver

I do believe Berube requested a trade from here, and I beleive he played pretty solid for Van last year.

I think that was his point, neither Flatters or Berube relied particularly much on their skating, but both eventually became serviceable though unspectacular defensemen.
