Rebels Reassign Gorchynski

The Rebels announced today that they have reassigned 17-year old goaltender Cam Gorchynski to the Westside Warriors of the British Columbia (Junior ‘A’) Hockey League

Interesting. Some may not like the idea of having two 19 year olds. But think of it this way. If they want Gorchynski to improve and develop more, why have him here sitting on the bench when he'll more than likely get more ice time down in the BCHL.

I think that if we get Kuemper back next season, this is a very good move, as Barnstable will be able to give Kuemper a few more nights off than Gorchynski could. If we don't get Kuemper back next season, then we will either have to make some tough decisions about some of our overage skaters next year, or run with 2 rookie goalies. :/
