Gal has improved quite a bit over last year, he got 3 points tonight in our SO win over EOK. Not too sure if he's gonna be an OA for the Tigers next season, but he has definitely come on in terms of improvement!

He is. He wrecked his shoulder playing for the US in a tournament.

I should have gotten a few more of those guys if I had given some thought.
It's pretty impressive that the minor hockey system has produced that many bodies for the WHL.
I'll put together a stat package as the year progresses.

This list doesn't even cover kids in the AJHL either, I believe there is a strong Lethbridge contingency playing for the Bandits this year as well. Probably for some other teams too. Also Ciolfi in PG.

Yes, Davidson did. I'll add him.
The WHL website says Guhle is from Daysland. Does that mean he never played in Lethbridge Minor Hockey? Where is Daysland?

Owsley is putting up nice numbers along with Davidson, Brad Ross, Gal in MH and Coilfi in PG to start the season.
That makes 18 players from the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association on Dub rosters. That's mighty impressive!!!!
If I've missed anyone feel free to clue me in.
I'll try and update weekly throughout the season and highlight players who become hot.

Tait Koot Goalie 18 Dressed as an emergency backup with Lethbridge but has no stats.

I can't imagine the boys up in PG are enjoying going from a winning program in Lethbridge to the Cougars losing ways. I feel for them.

It looks like Owsley is making the largest impact but Davidson is doing very well in Regina as well. Ross in Portland of course is the man but also a few others like Gal in Spokane and Holland have started to find their way. Taylor Gal in Med hat is also at a PPG pace.

Looks like the Bridge is representing quite nicely. It will be interesting to follow Brad Ross in this draft year.

Looking forward to tonight's clash and seeing Owsley and Holland in person.

Patrick Holland had his first two goal game tonight as the Americans beat the Broncos.
Good for him!

Ciofli was sent home to Lethbridge. See story, dated Dec 6th at the end of this link. It is too bad for the youngster. I hope it all works out. He was doing alright.

Without knowing the circumstances, I'm of two minds when it comes to education and hockey. One of course is that it's important to get an education no matter what. On the other hand, what's the purpose if it's not a "quality" education? Just getting by as many players do, isn't enough. When hockey comes first- and it does for all of them, then hold off on the education until it can be the priority.
