Picked this up Friday night at the game. Thought I would share it with you all.
So Friday was my 19th birthday and I was at the Regina game. In the 1st intermission I was in the Raider shop where I spotted a Zemlak jersey on the GU rack. I debated and decided to not pick it up since I couldn't really afford it. All through the 2nd period all that was on my mind was that jersey so I decided I would go get it at the break. I went back to the shop and well.. it was gone... So I decided to not leave empty handed and picked up an old style jersey for $60 and was in line to pay when the lady in front of me had the Zemlak jersey in her hands! I waited and she asked the lady behind the counter how much it was. So she had to talk to her husband since it was going to be an xmas gift for they're son and Garrett is his favorite Raider. She also said that they wanted to nab the breast cancer jersey but seeing that in the 2nd intermission Ryan Button's sold for like $800 she really thought $200 sounded better. So I decided to wait on her to come back before making any purchase. As she walked away though I was trying to sell her on going for the breast cancer jersey and even played the "It's my bday card" lol. So the 3rd was well under way when the lady in the shop told me she would just stay open and I could go back to the game and she would let me know after the fate of the jersey. After the Raiders finished with the Pats, I headed down there and as she saw me coming she said "It's your lucky day, happy birthday!" So I bought the jersey and got home and was showing my mom who still had no clue what to get me for my birthday. She just decided to offer to pay me back for the jersey as my gift which made me even happier! Got to be the best gift I've gotten in ages!!! Zemlak is my favorite current Raider and he's on FIRE! Also going to see if he will sign it for me next time he comes for a sub! lol
