I see that our rookie Sullivan is the guy that had to step up and take on McNaught tonight. What a joke. And Doyle has to go Dziurzynski in his first game back after his injury? Unreal. You can preach this "team toughness" garbage all you want but when a 170 pound rookie has to take on one of the toughest guys in the league its pathetic. And our young D will continue to get pounded because there is no one to fear on this team. Its obvious that the league doest give a crap about protecting our guys (see McNaughts 5 games) so pull your head out of your collective bungholes Broncos and get some toughness in here ASAP. This peace loving, daisy picking concept is getting good players injured and it needs to change.

The Rebels (and a number of other teams) have the same problem, but realistically there just isn't anything out there that is available, and your only other recourse is to look outside the WHL--then you may be dressing someone that can't skate or compete at the WHL level.

There really isn't anyone on McNaughts level in this league, or at least out East. So we are not going to find anyone to take care of him. IF they can find a player that doesn't hurt the team and can keep up then why not. The problem is i don't think they can find anyone that can play good enough to justify taking ice time away from one of our young players.

Man big props to Sullivan for stepping up. Hope he learns a few things in these scraps and fills his frame out. That being said watching this makes me angry. Ya showboat after you beat up a rookie you have 50 pounds on you clown. Enjoy the LNAH there hero. Always somebody tougher:

Looks like Sullivan is improving. Looked better in his scrap last night for sure. At least he seems willing.

Didn't he hold his own against Miller the other day?

At least Sullivan's got the cajones to square off out there, unlike about 90% of all dub players!!

Agreed. And if he keeps getting experience and throws on 20 pounds he will be a force in the years to come. The fact he went in to Saskatoon and squared off with McNaught showed MASSIVE nuts. Good for him. If that didnt score points in the locker room then nothing will.
