the Hurricanes are currently on pace for the worst record of the club since the 1999-2000 season when Overtime and Shootout losses came into play.
Averaging out their current record over 72 games the team will end up with an approximate record of 23-40-9-0 = 55 pts. They would also end up scoring approximately 210 goals and allowing 282. However their fewest goals scored was 195 in 05-06 and the most allowed was 303 in 02/03.
Can more deals be far away? Likely as the Canes have valuable assets that other clubs want. Three of the possible four players that could be dealt will not be back with the club next season that being Sbisa, Bancks, Rowat. While their other asset Ashton could be back for another full season.
