The Hitmen scored 3 goals in 2:50 during the second period to blow open a 1-1 game and then held on to beat the Giants 5-4. Overall I thought it was a good game by the Hitmen, who really came out of the gates strong and probably deserved 2 or 3 goals in the first period alone but Vancouver goalie Mark Segal held his team in the game.

It was easily Micha Fisenko's best game as a Hitmen. He was all over the offensive goal and made a beautiful move to set up Ian Schultz in the 2nd period. Fisenko finished with a goal and 2 assists.

Marty Jones picked up the win but looked alittle shaky at times and gave up a brutal goal to Garry Nunn in the first period. He made up for it with a very good kick save with just seconds left in the third to preserve the win.

The Hitmen play this afternoon in Chilliwack, the Bruins beat the Hitmen earlier this year in Chilliwack. The game will be on the fan 960.

Yes it was a great game to watch. Overheard some players *****ing about ice time on Calgary. Some of the younger players, seem to think that Kisio doesn't like them. They feel having to be a healthy scratch is unwarranted during their draft year. It will work itself out. Calgary has a bright future with their young players.
