Posted today on the hurricanes site, we traded to get Machacek from Kootenay for a 4th round pick, but he won't play until Sat.

Also on the Brandon page on WHL Fans, trade rumors of Glennie, Erdhardt and Swriypa for Ashton, Reddington and Henke. Still rumors mind you, but the writer seems to feel there is some merit to this.

I heard of this Glennie trade at the game tonight as well. I can't see it having merit though. Why would Brandon trade top level talent like Glennie when they are gearing up for a shot at Mem cup?
