Personally I think that is a heck of a trade for the Oil Kings.

Bob Green previously built the Tigers and now the Oil Kings are starting to look a lot better too.

yeah it was, Hockey Hookey. There were school trips to the game.

Im a former (well still do own) London Knights Season Ticket holder in the OHL, but now I live in Edmonton and have for 2 years. This trade is awesome for the oil kings. They knew they werent going to be going anywhere this year so give your older guy a shot at a Mem Cup, thats respect for the player from Management as well as fans, its good to see.

I remember going to watch the Knights in the mid 90's when they only won 3 games all season long, It was terrible. Maybe 1000 people in attendace at the games. Then new Management came in, The Hunters took over, built the John Labatt Centre and now the Knights sell out 9000 people every game, and are one of the most recognized Jr Hockey Teams in Canada.. They did the same thing the Oil Kings did, traded their better players for a mem cup shot, and built for the future.

So if there are Oil Kings in here, what im saying is, Stay behind the team, Its only a matter of time before these boys are a force in the WHL

They traded with Vancouver not Saskatoon.

They traded with Vancouver not Saskatoon.

Yes I know, but Vancouver is sitting in 2nd place, and they have a chance to get to the memorial cup. Saskatoon might be hot and what not right now for the season, but come playoffs, anybody can beat anybody its a new season.

With Van-City in 2nd place in the conference, they are already ahead of the Oil Kings, thus a chance to get to the mem cup.
