Just my opinion, but winning the scholastic team of the year is a very important and prestigious award. Kids (parents) that want their sons to go to and finsh their education will look more favorably on the WHL and the Vancouver Giants gain by them knowing they care about educational requirements. That is huge because non drafted, quality players, that want to get a good education know where the choice teams have their priorities.

No, this is a big "win".

Don't get me wrong, I'm very proud of the Giants for their awards. It was more of a joke. ;)
