On Friday the Hitmen were well on their way to a win over Brandon when suddenly the wheels fell off the bus and the Wheaties took full advantage of it by scoring 4 goals in 7:19, all after the midway point of the third. The Wheaties would add an empty netter and beat the Hitmen 6-3. Tyler Shattock had a nice game with 2 goals and an assist. After the game most of the comments from the Hitmen were of disappointing because they let the game get away. Up 3-1 on home ice with 9 minutes left to play has to result in a win.

Yesterday afternoon, the Hitmen bounced back and knocked off the Americans 3-0. I cannot make any comments on the game as I was busy with following the Flames and the online broadcast feed didn't work. Obviously, a much better 60 minute effort by the Hitmen yesterday. Marty Jones was solid making 35 saves.
