Songs played at Blades home games

First time user, longtime fan LOL

I need some help. Sometimes during the intermissions, or right before the teams take to the ice, there is a song that's played that I would like to know the name of. It's driving me up the wall! I tried to google the lyrics to it, but to no avail.

The first line is "it was a bad idea..."
the chorus is something like "...the summer, hey hey hey"

Does anybody know what I am talking about?

I think you are refering to 'The Ballad of Hugo Chavez' by the Arkells. Its probably on youtube.

The problem was with searching the lyrics, its 'night of the sun' not summer.

I sure hope the Blades can get things together. I didn't have seasons last year, but went to a lot of games. It seems as if last year they could play for 40 minutes and lose. This year they play only 40 minutes of a game and can still win, either because the other teams aren't that good, or because our guys bust their ass and comeback to win.

This isn't a good sign, especially heading into the playoffs.
