Last night, the Hitmen rolled into Regina on a 5 game winning streak. After a quiet and even first period the Hitmen took their game to another level and took over the game from the Pats. The Hitmen scored 4 second period goals including 3 from Brandon Kozun and had a 4-1 lead through 2. In the 3rd period the Hitmen scored a couple more goals while the Pats scored just once for a 6-2 final. It was a costly loss for the Pats who are in a battle just to make the playoffs, I don't think they have a chance and haven't had a chance for awhile. For the Hitmen, it was win #6 in a row and 7 of 8.
