The Hitmen extended their winning streak to 8 games on Sunday afternoon with a 6-2 win in Lethbridge. The game was really never in doubt as the Hitmen started fast with 3 goals in the first and followed that up with 3 more in the second period. I only listened to the game on the radio and it sounded as one sided as the score would indicate. Not much really to talk about, the Hitmen are battling for first overall and the Canes are just playing out the schedule.
