I believe it is the first win for the Rebels vs the Hitmen since Feb. 08. It was a real lackluster effort from the Hitmen, who really only played good for the 2nd 10 minutes of the 2nd period. Gotta give the Rebels full credit, they have really turned the corner. I was surprised that the Hitmen didn't try to wear the Rebels out down low. In my opinion, the Rebels can still beat manhandled down low in their own zone but the Hitmen really didn't get the aggressive forecheck and the cycle game going. Neither Keumper or Jones was very good last night. Coach Williamson wasn't happy with all the passengers last night and I expect to see a better effort from the Hitmen on Friday night in Red Deer.
