All the talk about Brandon's goaltending being too weak for an extended playoff run seems to have disappeared. DeSerres has quietly caught up to Hayes with 22 wins (on 5 losses) and, unless there is a sudden change in direction, it looks like Kelly will run with DeSerres.
I think this competition for the #1 spot been good for DeSerres, and Hayes, and I'm feeling a whole lot more confident about our goaltending situation than I was in November & December.
All in all, the way tDeSerres and Hayes are playing, probably as good a twosome as anybody in the Dub.
