Swifty wins in the SO tonight to lock 7th.
Nice thing about this is they are using Regina as homebase so the boys don't have very far to travel.
Who gets the start in game one? DeSerres or Hayes?
How many games does the series go?

Come on now boys. This won't be a cake walk for ya. We have injury problems but we'll give you a run! See you in Regina and hopefully both sides can give Rod Pedersen the boots, seeing as how he'll be in the stands...where he belongs!! Should be fun.

I would expect everyone at some point of the series except Tassone. Not that he is our saving grace by any means but we will miss Wagner alot. He is our most physical and grittiest player and sounds like he won't be around for the first bunch of games. But that is not an excuse we will dig deep as all teams have to deal with injuries.

Hope that's not the case. Would be one boring series to watch if it got that one-sided.

Sept 25 - Swift 0 Brandon 3
Nov 18 - Brandon 5 Swift 4
Nov 27 - Swift 2 Brandon 4
Nov 28 - Brandon 4 Swift 5
Dec 28 - Brandon 2 Swift 4
Feb 12 - Swift 0 Brandon 3
All the games were pretty close

Swifty has played us tough all season long, this one wont go past five games though.

If Morgan Clark can stand on his head for a game or 2 then this series could get interesting but if not it will be over quick
I like Swifty though. Solid team that works hard. Got some good young players and honestly next year could be a very good year considering you should have your key guys back plus your younger players will be that much better.
Adam Lowry is pretty under the radar right now but I am suspecting we will be talking more about him next year as a top prospect.

Will Clark be the starter? The last game they played here, it was Friesen who played and he stood on his head to keep it a close game. I think at that time, Friesen was getting the majority of the starts for SC, but I haven't been following them recently.

Will Clark be the starter? The last game they played here, it was Friesen who played and he stood on his head to keep it a close game. I think at that time, Friesen was getting the majority of the starts for SC, but I haven't been following them recently.
We don't have a #1, we just ride the hot had. Both have been pretty good as of late for us though, but I have a feeling that Clark will start the series.

Problem on SC's end is we really play you "hard" at the i-plex. We don't have that advantage.

PS: Rod Pederson, we don't want you "secretly" cheering for us, like you said on your blog. No room on the bandwagon for you.
Sounds like something Pedersen would do. Trash our team all year, and then cheer for us when the Pats lose out.

He also called Swift Current fans jealous of the Pats! I found that hard to read. He also said he was cheering for the Broncos but only if we would not rub it in that "they" didn't make the playoffs, and if we did decide to rub it in their faces then he would be "leading the band wagon" to make sure we were not welcome in Regina. Oooooooooooh...I'm so worried!!!:p
