It was a nothing game for either team. A 60 minute scrimmage with nothing on the line except a possible scoring title for Brandon Kozun. The Rebels actually started really well, they had a real good forecheck going and then they took a goalie interference penalty and the Hitmen never looked back. The Hitmen had a 2-0 lead after 20, increased it to 7-1 after 40. Kozun had one assist in the first period and 3 more in the 2nd to finish with 107 points and the WHL scoring title. The Hitmen would add one more in the 3rd to wrap up an 8-1 win. The Rebels had awful, awful goaltending in the game. The Hitmen finished with just 26 shots on goal and had all their goals on less than 20 shots.
