Del Cowan scored twice and set up two more while Ian Schultz also scored two goals to lead the visiting Calgary Hitmen to a 7-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Game 6 on Saturday.

Tyler Shattock – with a goal and an assist – Joel Broda and Giffen Nyren also scored while Jimmy Bubnick chipped in three assists for the Hitmen, who led 4-3 after two periods but scored three times in the third period to win their second straight contest in the series. Martin Jones turned aside 36 of 39 shots to record the win.

Thomas Frazee – with a goal and an assist – Ryan Stanton and Connor Cox scored while Quinton Howden added three assists in his first career post-season game for the Warriors, who have seen their 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven slip away. Jeff Bosch made 36 saves in the loss.

The Hitmen will host the Warriors for the seventh and deciding game of the series on Monday in Calgary, AB.

as much as i want the warriors to win this series i think there chance is all but done.... game 7 in calgary... the Hitmen r finally looking like the team they have been all season long

Don't count the warriors out yet. 5-6 years ago nobody gave MJ a chance in game 7 in Calgary and they won. No pressure on them tonight and they ar'nt supposed to been here anyways. Before the series started if you gave any warrior fan a chance with calgary in a game 7 you would have taken it in a heart beat.

Cody Sylvester and Jimmy Bubnick each scored two goals as the Calgary Hitmen defeated the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors 6-2 in Game 7 on Monday.

The victory gives the Hitmen a 4-3 best-of-seven series win over the Warriors, and advances them to the next round of the WHL playoffs.

Brandon Kozun notched a goal and two assists while Tyler Shattock tallied a goal and an assist for the Hitmen, who trailed the best-of-seven series 1-3 but won the final three games to eliminate the Warriors. Martin Jones made 25 saves in the victory.

Jason Bast and Dylan Hood scored for the Warriors, who failed to close out the series on all three elimination opportunities they had in Games 5, 6 and 7. Jeff Bosch made 28 saves in the defeat.
