Just curious as to how the cougars are planning to build a defense?
The forwards proved last year that they were unsure where their own end was so the thought that they might be better on the backcheck probably wont happen.
The cougars need to get at least 2 quality 19/20yr olds if they are going to be able to make any ground up on the teams ahead of them. Releasing Senkerik and Medland Marchen does not really hurt but that leaves them with Torbohm as a 20yr old dman ( to slow) and Bidlevksi as a 19 yr old (-110 for his career ). Although there is some light at the end of the tunnel with Forsberg, Gibb and McDonald, that only makes 3 dmen at 17/18 yrs old. Where do the cougs get solid WHL ready vets on Defense?
