I was browsing online and read the following in a Minnesota paper:
The Wild will qualify 2009 draft picks Kris Foucault and Darcy Kuemper on Friday to retain their rights another year. The Wild has informed the 29 other teams that right wing Eero Elo (145th overall, 2008), goalie Niko Hovinen (132nd overall, 2006) and defenseman Harri Ilvonen (170th overall, 2007) can be had for a draft pick before the June 1 signing deadline. If the Wild is unable to trade their rights, the team doesn't plan to sign them and they'll be able to re-enter the draft.
