About 3 years ago Kyle Beach, who will probably play for Chicago this coming season, made a point about political favoritism slanted towards Ontario players in the U20 and U 18 programs. He covered the Canada insignia and in place pasted in an Ontario emblem. Appropriate. Once again we see the same nonsense from Hockey Canada. In total only 4 players from the WHL were deemed talented enough for the U18 team, and also 4 from QMJHL and the 13 remaining were from the OHL.

Unfortunately, our own Mark McNeil was a victim of this tiresome political BS.

I agree. But the good news is he has hit the gym hard and thinks his leg is back to 100% now. He just turned 17 and is a solid 6'2 215 already. In a article in the Prince Albert herald Bruno says that he thinks he could jump to a 80 point guy this year so he obviously had him slated to take Harrisons spot in the line up. Cant wait for camp on the 26th!

just hope he doesnt request a trade :p lol
