Kayle Doetzel has been omitted. He is "at" camp, but with cracked ribs, so is only taking part in the non contact drills. He is underage anyhow so is only here for experience.......

Updated with cuts after the Black & White game. According to the press release, there are 31 players left in camp and i have 32. anyone know who the 1 extra I have is?

Intersting release, he obviously hasn't played as well in exhibitions as he did in camp.

I could have seen the Oursov thing coming. He looked really fast in camp, and made some younger players look slow. But after watching him in Innisfail, he showed me about as much as I saw 2 years ago. Soft, played on the outside, never accomplished anything. that's my two cents

Here are the remaining players in camp, if we carry 24 and Coetzee and a 20 year old goalie don't make the team then that should leave two more cuts to be made. One of those will be Haber or Ferguson leaving one more, which I guess is likely a forward?:

With the Pats having two spots open for 20 year olds, I wonder if any phone calls have been made. Any one of our 20's might be of value in a trade.

Justin Weller has also been returned from Phoenix. So that leaves Froese, Kuemper and Coetzee still at camp. I imagine we get Froese back before Friday and then will wait and see on the other two.

Looks like Kuemper is coming back to Red Deer, Greg Dinnan reported yesterday that he was being sent back.

With Kuemper coming back, which goalie gets moved? Or is there even really a decision to make?

That is the million dollar question although the answer is likely Barnstable. I though would entertain trading Kuemper if you could get some value for him and start Barnstable.

I updated the list to show that all our NHL campers are back (except Willie Coetzee, who is not expected back, who I have removed)

This leaves us with 27 players on the roster. We are expected to carry 24, which leaves 1 more cut after cutting down to the 20 year old limit.

However, with Muller having a broken hand, does that mean no cuts until he is healthy?
