Wow, I thought you were smoking something but you are right. Here is the link, it's on the whl.ca site.

I would also comment that Calgary isn't on the list, but somehow Saskatoon is. That won't last long.

Funny how "The Hockey News" has the Rebels 16th out of 22 teams in the WHL while the Mastercard ratings have them 10th in the country, 4th in the dub! Bizarre. Somebody is completely wrong here.

The Rebels or any other WHL team have yet to play a regular season game with their final rosters. If there is any logic behind these rankings, it is not abundantly clear to me.

As far as the eastern conf goes, I thought maybe Swifty, MJ and RD should be the faves? Then you never rule out Calgary, Stoon and the WK's

I agree these rankings really have no merit at this point. How they even do them without anyone playing a game and not having rosters set is beyond me. Heck Coetzee and Kuemper could be lost and then I am sure their rankings would change.

I am shocked actually that the hockey news has the Rebels 16th out of 22. I thought they had people employed that knew something about hockey, clearly I am wrong on this assumption because there is no way regardless of Coetzee coming back or not that we finish in the bottom half of the 22 teams.

These rankings have slim to no merit. And slim just left town.
