The Rebels released 20 year old Kraymer Barnstable today. He will be placed on waivers, and, if unclaimed, will become a free agent.

Apparently there isnt as good of a market for a 20 year old goalie as I thought.

This leaves the Rebels with 4 20 year olds on the roster.

Hayes from Brandon is as good a goaltender or better, and he got placed on waivers today too. Guess that was the writing on the wall for whichever team did it last.

Wasn't it Barnstable that bailed out Kemper when he sucked in last year's playoffs? Not sure that's a wise move.

Yes Barnstable replaced Kuemper in net for the playoffs. Kuemper although was the #1 goalie all year and is a NHL drafted goalie. Kuemper will have a great year, I hope Barny gets on somewhere as not only is he a good goalie, he appears to be a great kid!
