A few Silvertips fans (myself, my wife, and infant daughter included) will be visiting Prince Albert on Saturday, December 11, for the first time ever. We will be watching the Raiders face-off against the Everett Silvertips (our hometown team).

Here are some questions I would like answered by Prince Albert fans:
1) Should we buy tickets in advance, or should we purchase tickets at the box office the day of the game?
2) Would that particular game be a sellout? Any concerns for getting tickets?
3) Do any fans meet anywhere before games, for dinner?
4) Would any fans like to meet a few Silvertips fans before the game?
5) Any recommendations for things to do in the city, if we have time?

Any advice and/or assistance would be much appreciated.

Best Regards,

Redwic

getting your tickets in advance would not hurt its your better chance to get good tickets and sit together.

Good chance of a big crowd with the TIPS only coming around once every 2 years

Boston Pizza on 2nd ave west is the hockey hub in Prince Albert great food good service and the hockey teams will usually show after the game there for a bite to eat.

Things to do in pa around that time we have the usual Malls Movie theaters the if you are bringing the kids and have sleds( aka tobogans) head across the river on hyw 55 and do some sledding at Little Red Park. nice hills.

Enjoy your time IN Prince Albert hope to see you at the game

I purchased our tickets this morning. Rhonda in the front office was great assisting me with the seat selection and advice. My wife and I (and infant) will likely be sitting away from other Silvertips fans that game, as we wanted an aisle seat. We are excited to visit Prince Albert and meeting with the fans!

Also... we were recommended to visit the Ches Leach Lounge for a pre-game meal. Perhaps we will!

Big night that night. It's the 40th anniversary of the very first game the Raiders played at the Comuniplex aka Art Hauser Centre. Should be a special night.

I sense an ambush!

Just kidding. Section 10, top row, aisle.

That's very cool!

Now that we have a person to be our home-squatter and watch our dogs, we will be ready to head up to the Great White North in a few days. We have game-tickets, plane tickets, lodging, and rental car reserved.

There will be at least nine Everett Silvertips season-ticket holders heading up for the East Division trip. It might sound like much, but considering the team would be lucky to have 2-3 normally go on that trip, let alone in December, it should be a good little contingent.

My wife and I will be the only Everett fans bringing a child (ours is an infant), so we should be fairly recognizable just from that alone. The other fans will include our trip & lodging buddy (Tony), a car containing three women, and a middle-aged couple. We hope to meet a lot of great hockey fans, see a lot of competitive hockey games, and tour the beautiful Winterized prairies.

If anyone wants to meet at or prior to the game in Prince Albert, just let me know on here by this Thursday night. We will probably try to go to the pre-game dinner at the arena. We might not have internet access for the first-half of the trip.
