Swift Current, SK---Swift Current Broncos' Head Coach and General Manager Mark Lamb has announced the club has acquired goaltender Derek Tendler from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a 6th round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2011.
Tendler, 18 years old from Regina, SK, is entering his 3rd WHL season. Last season he posted 4 wins, 2 losses, an overtime loss, a 3.74 goals against average and a .866 save percentage for the Giants. This season he has played in one game for the Giants, a 7-2 loss to Portland.
