getting balanced scoring to start the season.

viedensky, nicholls, hamilton and dziurzynski leading the offense. stransky has been a pleasant surprise. benson solid all around play.

defensively a shaky start.

elliott is forcing things. and as a group they've given up way too many goals (a bit inflated because of the 7-0 blowout vs brandon). once this group gels it should lockdown things a little tighter.

goaltendings a bit of a mystery.

stanford has a good save percentage, undefeated to start the season, needs to bring the gaa down. morrison got shelled in brandon, looked better vs tri-city. he has definitely looked the shakier of the two. if morrison sticks in philadelphia's system next season the blades will have to make a deal for a veteran goaltender next year.

saskatoon had one 60 minute game against tri-city. they need more complete efforts. with a young blades group inconsistent is probably normal.

as good as the record is to start the season, saskatoon can be a lot better. hopefully they will be, and the fans in this city will come out and support them like they deserve.
