Kamloops robbed Brandon on this one big time! A 5th rounder for an 18 year old who as a 17 year old rookie playing under 30 games as a 3rd liner at best scored just shy of 10 goals! As soon as he gets as opportunity, hes gonna light the lamp. Hes got 3 years yet, and along with Depape Kamloops has some good young talent for a few years

Talked to him over the summer and from what he said he wasn't going to be happy here if he wasn't playing regularly. I guess KM and him sat down and figured things out and hes gone now. Too bad I kinda liked him

Brandon simply had too many 1992-born forwards on their roster.

Stone
Ferland
Walker
King
Favreau
Gaudet

The first three names aren't going anywhere, King is off to a good start to the year, Favreau was just acquired, and Gaudet could be considered to be on a par with Sinatynski.

It was going to be difficult to find anything but 4th-line ice time for him, so likely better for Sinatynski to get a chance elsewhere. This move also allows other rookies to get more ice time.

While Sinatynski has shown flashes of what he did in midget hockey, he is also still mostly unproven at the WHL level.

He never seems to be giving 100%. Good ability but didn't look as though he was ever committed. Hope he does well out West though.

Not overly sad to see him go , expected a little more out of him by now and hopefullly this is the opportunity he needs.
