In what was a fast paced game with many chances both ways, the Saskatoon Blades once again play just 30 minutes of decent hockey en route to a win.

Lethbridge plays a very positional structured game and doesn't allow too many odd man rushes. The Blades hit a couple posts and Dziurzynski missed a sure goal when the Blades were down 3-2. However, Siemens was able to tie the game on a 5 on 3 PP. Saskatoon carried most of the play in overtime.

Random Thoughs:
Lethbridge has a terrible power play, in fact, Saskatoon carried most of the play when Lethbridge was on the PP.

Stefan Elliott is starting to calm his game down a bit and not trying to do too much.

Duncan Siemens is getting better and better the more PP time he is given. He is going to be something else this year.

The puck seemed to be jumping on the Blades tonight, not sure if the ice was crappy or not.

Mitch Maxwell is a great player......Reners has good patience with the puck. The defence core is a solid stay at home bunch. I don't think they'll get lit up too often but may not score enough some nights.
