Blades 3rd Jerseys [Archive]

I heard from Mike Scissons on the intermission broadcast that the Blades plan to launch a third jersey at their game Friday November 12th against Portland. It's PBR rodeo night, and they plan to have a jersey that looks like a cowboy denim shirt.

What are your thoughts?

From what I heard it was just for a theme night. He never mentioned anything about auctioning them off, although for something special like that I suppose that they will.

I seen a pic of those jerseys it's for a good cause but man they are the uglyiest jersey's i have ever ever seen in my life

And also it isn't even for a charity it is for the PBR rodeo raising money what a crock it wont be long before all teams have advertisments on their jerseys

If it looks like those jerseys that they use in the European leagues then yeah why even do something like that? Good cause or not they have to look somewhat decent. At least they will only be a one time thing.

Wonder what the players think of them.

With the game being on November 12th, I'd rather see the Blades wear blue camouflage jerseys since its right after Rememberance Day.

Bush league jersey. I would expect something like this out of the ECHL or something, but I always hoped these themed jerseys wouldn't surface in the WHL. Guess I was wrong.

Gee thanks My wifes reply was YUMMY!!! wow i think ill keep her at home:) They are not that bad in person. I will be bidding on one or two of them.

So when are the Blades planning on bringing in a real third jersey?

I miss the blue/gold modernized pacman ones they had a couple seasons ago. Quite a few CHL teams have come up with third jerseys for this season, and I was hoping the Blades would have something.

I dig the current set though, possibly the best in the dub.
