Just another ugly game for the Calgary Hitmen that extended the losing streak to 5 straight games.

The Bruins scored early and often on Hitmen starting goalie Juraj Holly. They had a 2-0 lead on 5 shots just 4:39 into the game. Coach Williamson pulled Holly from the game and replaced him with Michael Snider. The Hitmen responded with 2 goals of their own but it was all down hill from there as the Bruins scored 5 more times. Just a real tough game, I only listened period and just a couple minutes of the 2nd but based on the pbp the Bruins got some lucky breaks early and took full advantage of every Hitmen mistake. The Hitmen played without both Cody Beach and Kris Foucault, who were out with upper body injuries.

This could get uglier before it gets better imo. The vets up front could play so much better and most of the young kids up front are probably not really ready for the dub. The blue line is also a young group and it just seems like every mistake they make is ending up in the net because neither one of Michael Snider and Juraj Holly have shown the ability to keep the team in games and come up with the big save. It will be interesting to see how long Kisio sticks with this roster. He continues to talk about Christmas, he (the organization) has to give the team until Christmas to see what they really have but the fact is if he does wait until Christmas, the season could be over by then. Tough times for Hitmen fans who have been spoiled for several years in a row.
