He is in fact going to be taking the NCAA route. He chose not to attend Blades camp in order to play and make the Westside team in the KIJHL. He is happy with his decision so the Blades may as well take him off their list.

Lawson would've been a good prospect for the Blades and this could be considered a bit of a blow and yet another BC prospect who really isn't interested in coming to the cold winter prairies.

He might want to buy a toque anyways - I'm not aware of any NCAA ice hockey west of the prairies.

Yale
Boston College
Boston University
New Hampshire

Really anywhere south, is warmer than Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in January!
