On Sunday afternoon the Hitmen lost their 6th straight game. It was an ugly first period as referee Matt Kirk called 10 penalties between the 2 teams which really took away from the flow of the game.

The Hitmen actually played a fairly decent game but the Blades capitalized on a bunch of sloppy plays by the Hitmen in their own zone and pulled out the win. The thing that is most alarming to me is that the Hitmen coaching staff are really riding the veterans and they are not getting the job done. I think it is very evident that the leaders of this year's team really benefited from the stars from the past 2 years. This year's group are a much better supporting cast rather than the go to players that they are required to be this year.
