The losing streak is now at 8 for the Hitmen. Once again they really competed last night and at least scored some goals but they couldn't keep the puck out. Juraj Holly started and gave up 3 goals on 7 shots and was pulled and replaced by Michael Snider. A big problem imo is that neither goalie is coming up with the big saves for the Hitmen right now. They need one of these 2 kids to step and steal a game for the team. They do make some good saves but they are both giving up some very weak goals, goals that cannot go in when the team is really struggling.

The power play with so good early in the game but when it really needed to come through, a 5 on 3 late in the 3rd, they didn't even muster a shot on goal. Lack of focus and trying to be too fancy when they just needed to simplify the power play, get set up and move the puck around.

The Hitmen are in Cranbrook tonight, the Ice has posted 2 shutouts in 2 games vs the Hitmen so far this year.
