Make it 9 straight set backs for the Hitmen. They are getting close to the franchise record of longest losing streak. The record is 12 games back in January of 1996.

The bottom line is fairly simple. First, the vets on this team are not playing well enough to lead the team through these tough times. Second, most of the kids are not ready for this level of hockey and finally, neither goalie is playing consistent enough in a game. The Hitmen really need either Snider or Holly to step and give them a legit chance to win a game. Again, both are making some good saves but too many weak goals and too many goals period are going in. They must make a handful of big saves a game.

It sounds like Kris Foucault is getting close to returning. I heard that on the broadcast last night, hopefully when he does return, he is motivated and ready to help turn this ship around.

Its hard to think about playoffs already but they are a real long shot already for the Hitmen. The Hitmen find themselves 9 points out of 8th in the Eastern Conference already.
