Central Scouting Rankings to be released today..

I would like to hear what other Blades fans think in terms of where the draft eligable Blade players will be ranked. Central Scouting will put out a top 25 for WHL draft eligable players.

Here are the first year eligable players:
Stransky, Matej RW Right 6'2" 195 1993-07-11
Benson, Brent C Left 5'11" 187 1993-04-13
Siemens, Duncan D Left 6'3" 200 1993-09-07 (interesting to note here that Siemens was 8 days from not being available until next year)!
Dietz, Darren D Right 6'1" 190 1993-07-17

So just 4 players eligable. We are likely to see:
Duncan Siemens in the 2-5 range overall for the WHL.
Brent Benson in the 12-17 range overall for the WHL.

Stransky and Dietz would be borderline but they could crack it this morning.

Well, a bit of mixed feelings for me in regards to the NHL Central Scouting Rankings released this morning.

Duncan Siemens is only ranked 8th in the WHL, which is behind McNeill, Bell, Bartschi, Rattie, Nugent-Hopkins, Musil and Morrow now!

However, nice to see Brent Benson at 16th overall and Matej Stransky at 21st.

Mike St. Croix is 1 place behind Benson at 17.
