The Rockets sent Antoine Corbin, 18, to the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a third round bantam draft pick in 2012.
"Antoine was looking for more ice time than we were prepared to give him in light of the play of some of our younger players," says Rockets President/General Manager, Bruce Hamilton.
Corbin has suited up in just 11 of the Rockets first 21 games. He has been a healthy scratch the past seven games.
Corbin had seemingly lost his job on the blueline to 16-year-old Damon Severson and 17-year-old MacKenzie Johnston.
“Bringing Antoine in adds depth to our defensive corps,” says Raiders General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. “He is a big bodied defenceman with a heavy shot.”
