The Rockets sent Antoine Corbin, 18, to the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a third round bantam draft pick in 2012.

"Antoine was looking for more ice time than we were prepared to give him in light of the play of some of our younger players," says Rockets President/General Manager, Bruce Hamilton.

Corbin has suited up in just 11 of the Rockets first 21 games. He has been a healthy scratch the past seven games.

Corbin had seemingly lost his job on the blueline to 16-year-old Damon Severson and 17-year-old MacKenzie Johnston.

“Bringing Antoine in adds depth to our defensive corps,” says Raiders General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. “He is a big bodied defenceman with a heavy shot.”

A few of the boys were getting lonely up in the stands. They were getting writers cramp from keeping up with all the negative stats! I don't imagine the Corbin family are too thrilled. No worries, Antoine will find lots of ice in PA this winter, just not the type he'll be skating on. Dress warmly Antoine. And no, the meager crowds aren't a flashback to minor hockey, those really are the crowds at the Art Hauser!
