Hi Wheatie fans...what are the Giants to expect out of Bestland?

FYI McKay showed talent but was not a Giant / Don Hay style player. He was very soft on the puck and didn't show much leadership for being a 20 yr. old. The life of a 20 yr old in the whl!

Don't let his short stature fool you, he is a tough little nut who will drop the gloves with anyone and he hits like a truck. I thought he would have a great year in Brandon, but it just didn't work out. He was maybe trying to do too much while being paired with a lot of 1st year guys on the back end. Maybe Don Hay can get the "Best" out of Bestland. He has good puck skills and hard shot and can throw the big open ice hit. He's an above average fighter. The negatives are he likes to pinch way too often looking for the big hit, and has the odd brain cramp resulting in turnovers in his own end which resulted in his being one of the leagues worst plus/minus. I hope he does well for you out in Vancouver.
