why #17 hasnt been retired is a mystery . anyone who saw him play in his only season as a warrior would agree he defined the style that would become known as " warrior hockey ". gp 71 66 - 74 = 140 25 pm . Captain rookie of the year 3rd on warriors most goals in a season and is tied for WHL record most goal in a game with 7 . two of the other retired # Buckberger career gp 123 26 - 39 65 320 pm Keane career 185 76- 120 196 410 pm 3 seasons . those two obviously had their # retired based more on what they did in NHL than WHL . i think it should be reversed we're not retiring the nhl jersey. i know they had a ceremony honoring him but i would like to see his # retired in the building where he set the tone for what a Warrior should be . the last reg season home game would be nice .:clap:
