The Hitmen have played 3 games since the trade deadline and all 3 were against a division rival, the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The first game last Wednesday saw the Hitmen come back from a 3-1 second period deficit to win 4-3 in a shoot out. The winner was scored by newcomer Brooks Macek.

The Hitmen got goals from Macek and Foucault in the shootout.

The middle game of the series, also played in Lethbridge, saw the Canes win 4-2. The Hitmen found themselves down 3-0 early in the 2nd, scored 2 quick goals in the 3rd but after the Hitmen had made it 3-2, the Canes got the insurance goal just 42 seconds later.

The third game of the series was played at the Saddledome, the Hitmen's first home game since December 30th, had the Hitmen win 3-1. The Hitmen were solid for 2 periods but really hung on in the 3rd as the Canes pressed for the equalizer. The Hitmen scored an empty net goal late, it was the first goal as a Hitmen by new defenceman Spence Humphries. Brandon Glover was solid on Sunday afternoon making 34 saves.
