GIANTS ADD TWO NEW FACES TO HOCKEY STAFF

The Vancouver Giants have made two new additions to their hockey operations staff. The Giants have hired Blair Niekamp as the club’s new Athletic Trainer and Jason McMaster as the team’s new Equipment Manager.
Niekamp comes to Vancouver after spending the past season with the Saskatoon Blades as the team’s assistant trainer. McMaster arrives in Vancouver after holding the same title with the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
“Both Blair and Jason come highly regarded from their respective clubs,” says Giants General Manager Scott Bonner. “With the loss of our experienced out-going trainer Colin Robinson, we felt it was important to go with a two-man system to fill his void.”
McMaster’s duties with the Giants will commence June 1 while Niekamp will start with the organization August 1.
