Weekend series vs MJ

The Pats had a very successful weekend gaining a split vs the Wariors.Regina worked hard and to be honest possibly deserved more points.GM Lang seems to have assembled a good chemistry mix of hard working players.It looks like a wild finish to the season with every team still alive in the playoff hunt.

It wasnt a 60 minute effort, and the last couple goals were kind of weak,but the pats played pretty well last night. Another good part of it is they battled through some weak and inconsistent officiating as well rather than folding.


But the next stretch of games are very important. Not only are two of our next three games against teams in direct competition for playoff spots, but if we win these games, we could be in striking distance of even 6th place if the standings dont change too much(i know, hard to ask for). I say this because we are currently 4 points away from 7th with games in hand on all those teams, and though we are 6 full points behind Edmonton, they will be starting their road swing against the toughest division in the league right now. Unless Edmonton goes god mode against 3 front running contender teams, the pats could have their chance to gain some ground.

As with every year, it gets tighter as the end of the season comes closer. Hopefully this time, things work out for the pats.

and apparently, edmonton's top(or 2nd best) defenceman Reinhart is done for the year, which just makes things harder on this road trip of theirs...
