Looks like Brent Sutter has finally agreed to return as coach of the Canadian
team at next year's World Juniors:

He'll certainly have his work cut out for him this time considering that only
Cam Barker and Sidney Crosby are eligible to return next year, and if the NHL
is back in action there's pretty much no chance that Crosby would be made
available to play.

On the other hand, it's probably good news for WHL boys since Sutter showed a
definite preference for those on last year's team....the 86's aren't very
strong in the WHL but there's some very good 87's so maybe we'll see a few of
those make the team as 18 year olds.

I'm glad Sutter is coming back for one more. If the tournament was in Europe I bet he wouldn't of commited to coming back. Sutter will have lots of players to pick from and will be another great team. I hope Crosby will be able to come back.

I hope also Jeff Truitt gets the job as assistant coach, this would be his second stint with the world juniors and add to his experience.

David Bolland should be a strong candidate for a position on this team.

Of course, he doesn't play in the WHL so he may get missed.
