Some of you may not be aware of this, but the QMJHL, one of the WHL's cohorts in the CHL, has on their website links to the box score for every game that's ever been played in that league's history, which dates back to the 1969-1970 season.
It got me wondering if the WHL and the OHL would ever follow suit and do the same for their leagues. The heads of the leagues seem to want all the leagues being on the same page, so it would make sense for the WHL and OHL to follow the Q's lead with this. It seems like someone would still have all of the box scores from the old days, much like someone had them all for the QMJHL.
It would certainly help the newer WHL fans like myself learn about the older days of the WHL.
