...has to be replaced. In a span of 30 seconds on the pre-game show tonight I counted 14 "ahhs". If this is any indication for the game, it'll be a long night. He is so painful to listen to and ruins an otherwise good play by play. Does Drew have no one else he can get to do color? :burningmad:

agreed! but how come Drew cant even say that Tucker is a healthy scratch...he obviously is told to shut up about Tucker which is sad that he listens.

Whats more puzzeling to me is why they cant give credit to Williams ever. If Tucker ever played the way Williams is they would be praising him as the next comming of Fuhr.

We are obviously not listening to the same radio show. Drew is constantly praising Williams even when he has a mediocre night. I guess we all have our own biases.

Talked to Tucker tonight, he still has his hand bandaged up, so I doubt he can be considered "healthy".

Mr. Ring obviously knows a bit about hockey. I realize that both he and Drew do not have a script to memorize and follow, but come on, Martin's stumbling, bumbling, and mis-pronunciation of player names is horrible. I listen to a lot of internet hockey and no one's color commentary quality is even CLOSE to the that of Ring's. Why not get a "scratch" to do color? At least there may be an excuse for poor grammar, speech, and nerves.

Well you need to understand that the day they are cleared doesnt mean the day they dress. He wasent even cleared to practice as of Wednesday

actually if you had watched any of the practices i think you would have seen him out on the ice before wednesday, don't believe everything printed in the herald.

Well, I don't doubt he was on the ice. It isn't his legs that aren't working. It doesn't matter anyways, because even if the Raiders do make the playoffs, they are done in 4 straight.

Now all of you can STFU about Tucker, He is Back (from Raiders web site)

Tucker Back From Injury

19 year old Jamie Tucker has been cleared by medical staff to return to action after missing the past 11 games with a thumb laceration that he sustained in a 5-4 loss against the Pats in Regina on February 5th. His return is quicker than anticipated as the injury was initially thought to potentially be a season ending one for the 19 year old net minder. Tucker is 10-18-1-2 with a 0.885 save percentage and a 4.00 GAA in his 35 appearances this season.

16 year old goaltender Brenden Fiebelkorn has been re-assigned to the Winnipeg Hawks of the Winnipeg Midget AAA Hockey League. Fiebelkorn has dressed in the past 11 games and saw one period of action during his stint with the Raiders. He appeared on Friday March 4th against the Moose Jaw Warriors when he replaced starting goaltender Eric Williams for the third period and stopped all 14 shots he faced in his WHL debut.

That's already been established.
